Teh Tarik Cocktail
Updated: Mar 4, 2021
A drink that is famously known to South East Asia, the pulled tea beverage traditionally consumed in a hot milk tea served with roti canai.
The origins can be traced back to Indian Muslim immigrants in Malaysia since colonial times. And has become part of the food and beverage heritage to Malaysians.
Locals and tourism alike had grown into appreciating the showmanship and preparation of the Teh Tarik. The drink is prepared with both hands, dragging the tea with a long stream without spilling creates a frothy and earthy flavor. Hence the name, Teh Tarik (pulled tea)
We've gotten a little creative and had come up with an Asian cocktail that we have grown to love. Do try, and let us know what you think?
